Bilingual Customer Support Offered

Eduardo and Daniel

Como le Puedo Ayudar?

Our bilingual team members, Eduardo Duran-Ramirez and Daniel Gutierrez, help Spanish-speaking customers feel more at ease when calling in or stopping by to discuss their snow retention needs. They can assist with everything from offering product recommendations to requesting parts to creating orders.

"Customers who only speak Spanish are delighted when I start processing or asking them questions about their order in Spanish," says Daniel Gutierrez, inside sales/customer service team member.  "Most of the time they are relieved when they don't have to struggle with the language barrier.  It's hard for them to try and explain what they require in a language they don't yet fully speak or understand."

According to statistics by Zippia, in the United States, 29.6 percent of all roofers are Hispanic or Latino.  Additionally, Spanish is the most common foreign language spoken among 82.2 percent of roofers.

Catering to Spanish-Speaking Techadores (roofers)

"Having a bilingual staff sets our company as the industry standard," says Eduardo Duran-Ramirez, logistics manager team member. "It's absolutely necessary for any company in the roofing industry to have a staff that can cater to the communication needs of Spanish-speaking roofers."

Eduardo relates that Spanish is his first language, but English is his primary language.  He understands the challenges roofers and other Spanish-speaking customers face when trying to communicate their needs and a company is not prepared to bridge the language barrier.

"In any scenario, whether it's at work or not, there's a sense of relief when a Spanish speaker (or any language) can use their native tongue to communicate," says Duran-Ramirez.  "There is an underlying confidence when we can speak Spanish to another Spanish speaking person.  This is because most Spanish speakers learn English as a second language and are sometimes still learning.  Being able to talk in Spanish to customers simply makes it easier on them."

From the Roofer's Perspective

Mauricio Nunez, owner of MNJ Construction, is one of the customers who appreciates being able to converse in Spanish with Guiterrez and Duran-Ramirez.  He has ordered four different, double pipe snow retention systems from Rocky Mountain Snow Guards.

Drift II Powder Coated

"It's very valuable to have bilingual assistance from a company," says Nunez.  "Getting that communication from one language to the other, especially with a lot of people not knowing English quite yet, really makes things a lot easier."

"When we first started working with Rocky Mountain Snow Guards, Daniel being bilingual truly helped my dad quite a bit.  It made purchasing some snow bars much easier for him.  I appreciate that my dad was able to make that purchase with no hassles."

To meet the needs of Spanish-speaking techadores, across the country, like Nunez and his father, Rocky Mountain Snow Guards is pleased to provide "servicio de cliente con excelencia en Español".
