Award-Winning Umbrella Roofing Relies on Rocky Mountain Snow Guards
For the past 13 years, the team at Umbrella Roofing has relied on Rocky Mountain Snow Guards for their snow retention products. When the company tackles unique and exclusive roof projects for residential and commercial projects, they contact RMSG for snow guards and snow fence systems.
"Experience and expertise keep us coming back to Rocky Mountain Snow Guards," says Josh Yandle, owner/operator of the roofing company based in Eagle, Colorado. "Their team is known for offering a range of snow retention solutions tailored to different roofing types, materials and architectural styles. These customized options ensure that their products are functional and aesthetically pleasing. They blend seamlessly with the design of the buildings".
Product Reliability
Over the years there have been dozens of projects Umbrella Roofing has completed using RG Snow Guards, NoFlash II and III and Clamp-to-Seam Snow Fences. They install standing seam, corrugated, through-fastened metal panels, asphalt shingles, concrete tiles, real cedar shakes and synthetic shake and slate roofing.
"We appreciate that Rocky Mountain Snow Guards produces durable and reliable products that can withstand our harsh weather conditions," says Yandle. "They effectively prevent snow and ice avalanches from sliding off our roofs. The RMSG products help ensure a safe roof system. Investing in the installation of a quality snow retention system greatly reduces the chance of sliding snow damaging the property itself or causing harm to residents or guests at a property."
Stand-Out Projects
Yandle has a variety of favorite projects they've completed using RMSG snow retention over the years. The Alpine Club and 1 Arrowhead Place in Edwards, Colorado were massive DaVinci Roofscapes synthetic shake projects.
At Alpine Club, DaVinci Multi-Width Shake was installed in the Aged Cedar color and to retain the snow 1,750 RG16 snow guards in solder rows.
At 1 Arrowhead, DaVinci Multi-Width shake in Tahoe color was installed by the Umbrella Roofing team along with 2,400 RG16 snow guards in conjunction with a NoFlash III snow fence at the eave.
Another stand-out favorite project for Yandle is the residence at 696 Forest Road in Vail, Colorado. Copper Vail Metal shingles top a 9-bedroom home. A peaked copper turret sits atop the house. Several types of snow retention systems were provided by RMSG, including a Drift III 3-pipe fence-style system, SnowCap II 2-pipe clamp-to-seam fence-style system and RG10 snow guards all in copper.
"There's also a beautiful residential project in Avon, Colorado," says Yandle. "There are many roof cutlines and copper accents on this project. Plus, there's the No-Flash 2-pipe snow fence system and RG16 snow guards from RMSG. The Black Oak shake from DaVinci stands out with the great combination. The whole thing looks spectacular together."
"Project after project, we depend on RMSG.
I was asked for three words to define RMSG products.
That's easy. Durable. Reliable. Innovative."
