When Valage Senior Living at Carson Valley opens in the fall of 2024 it will house 56 assisted living apartment homes and 46 memory care residences. Located in Minden, Nevada, the massive structure was designed by Pi Architects and built by Metcalf Builders.

For the roofing, they turned to Regan Roofing, Inc., out of Oceanside, California. The family-owned company handles commercial and residential roofing in San Diego County and the greater northern Nevada areas.

"When it came time to install the dark bronze metal on the main and secondary entryways, we knew we should take snow retention into consideration," says Grant Brust with Regan Roofing, Inc. "We've worked with Rocky Mountain Snow Guards for about four years. We sent them the plans for these two areas and they provided the recommendations for what system would work best."

For both aesthetics and snow removal efficiency, the experts at Rocky Mountain Snow Guards recommended the S-5!® ColorGard Bar-Style snow retention system with a coordinating ColorStrip in dark bronze. This blends in perfectly with the Taylor Metals 18" Versaspan 24-gauge dark bronze roofing on the entryways.

On the main asphalt roof, the Rocky Guard RG7 dark bronze snow guards were added at the entryways.
