"We can customize and make the training as basic or in-depth as a roofing contractor requires," says Brian Cross, manager of sales and marketing at Rocky Mountain Snow Guards. "We use a one-hour Power Point presentation as the basis for the free training and tailor the program to the needs of the specific contractor or group."
During the training Cross reviews all types of snow retention products and installations, including snow guards, snow fences and snow bars.
"The training reviews the free snow retention plan and quote service that we provide," says Cross. "Then we get into the very specific aspects of installation of a variety of snow retention products with different types of roofing materials such as metal, synthetic, asphalt, concrete and clay tile.
"Our products are designed to help protect people and property. We want roofing contractors to understand the best installation practices for each of our products. This training class is extremely helpful and available at their convenience."
